This licence costs approx. £850.00 through Nottingham City Council, you are able to apply for this yourself through the NCC website or alternatively B&K are able to apply for this application on your behalf for an additional fee of £125.00 per application. Selective licencing is to ensure that all rental properties meet specific safety standards, are maintained in good condition and that all required certificates are in place (gas certs, EPC's etc).

Yes, this is a legal requirement, we are able to arrange this for you if required.

Buildings insurance is a must. We do recommend having a contents insurance policy in place regardless of whether your property is let as furnished or unfurnished. All utilities are paid for by the tenant, unless the property is a HMO (House of multiple occupation)

An inventory is a written document noting the interior and exterior of the property and the condition that certain areas are in when the property is let to the new tenant, this also includes items that are in the property when the tenant moves in (pictures, furniture etc) We provide this for you, Steph will visit the property to ensure that the inventory is updated as and when necessary.
8Do i have to provide white goods
No, this is not a legal requirement and tenants will be made aware on the advertisement of the property whether or not these are included.
